The Director of Liquor and Gaming will be hosting a free workshop for club industry representatives in the Far North Coast region of New South Wales.

The program is ideally suited for club licensees, directors, executives and staff who want to have a better understanding of club governance and legislation.

Agenda topics include the final stage of the amendments to the Registered Clubs Act including recommendations by IPART, new Liquor Act and the policy statement of the Director of Liquor and Gaming.

The workshop includes an interactive panel discussion involving local industry representatives focusing on simplifying compliance for smaller clubs, working with the regulator; and looming issues.

Compliance officers from the NSW Office of Liquor, Gaming and Racing will be available for personal consultation and advice on liquor licensing issues.

All club licensees, directors, compliance managers, club auditors and security are invited to attend.
