Can patrons take home unfinished bottles of wine from licensed restaurants?
Yes. Patrons of licensed restaurants and public entertainment venues that provide meals can take home unfinished bottles of wine, but they must be resealed. Bottles can be resealed with, for example, a cap or stopper.

What photo ID can I use in NSW to prove that I am over 18 years and can buy alcohol or enter a licensed venue?
The only acceptable forms of proof of age in NSW are a current:
- driver or rider's licence (issued in Australia or another country)
- NSW Photo card (issued by the RTA)
- passport
- proof of age card (issued by another Australian State or Territory, except NSW).
