RSA and RCG competency card news

On 22 August 2011 the new photo card scheme was introduced for licensees, managers and staff working in licensed premises who are required to have RSA or RCG qualifications as part of their duties. We provide the latest update on the transition plan to replace all existing paper certificates with the photo card, and include frequently asked questions.

What is liquor + gaming magazine?
Liquor + gaming is a quarterly magazine produced by the NSW Office of Liquor, Gaming and Racing. It aims to assist industry operators understand their regulatory and legal obligations so that they can provide responsible and safe licensed venues which support a responsible drinking culture.

Liquor + gaming is distributed free of charge to every liquor licensee in NSW, liquor licensing police, local councils, community groups such as Community Drug Action Teams. Many licensees and registered clubs have joined our subscription service so that they can provide multiple copies for their venue managers, directors, supervisors and venue staff.

Other interested people and organisations are also welcome to buy an annual subscription.

How do I get a copy?
To obtain a copy of the magazine you need to be a current NSW liquor licensee or a current paying subscriber. Copies of the print publication are not available online. However many articles from the print edition are published on the OLGR website.

How do I subscribe to liquor + gaming?
You can visit the Shop NSW website and buy an annual (calendar year) subscription online or download the order form below and fax or mail it to our Customer Service Team (payment, mailing and fax details are on the form).
