My venue has 3 gaming machines. Am I required to have a self-exclusion scheme?

Yes. Hotels and clubs with gaming machines have an obligation to provide a self-exclusion scheme for all of their patrons. Here are some tips:

Display your venue’s self-exclusion scheme information.
Allow the patron the opportunity to seek their own legal or other professional advice.
Be aware that the patron is allowed to nominate which part of the venue they want to be excluded from – it will probably just be the gaming machine area, but it could be the entire venue.
