Seminars

As part of the office's industry education, seminars or workshops are conducted throughout the State. The seminar program provides information on charitable fundraising and community gaming activities.

Workshops are also held for members of ClubsNSW and the Australian Hotels Association.

The office also presents training modules as part of the Fundraising Institute-Australia's Skills Training Course. For further information about training and professional development courses conducted by the Fundraising Institute-Australia including the Diploma of Fundraising Management go to the Institute's website http://www.fia.org.au.

Free seminars - May 2008

Special education workshops

Officers, as far as possible, are also available to conduct special workshops for a specific charity. Such a workshop could be conducted in conjunction with an annual conference or a monthly meeting. These seminars or workshops aid compliance with the law and provide invaluable feedback. If you would like to request an officer attend a special workshop organised by you, please telephone 9995 0621 or e-mail daniel.zuccarini@olgr.nsw.gov.au.

OLGR's website is progressively being updated to reflect the changes following the introduction of new liquor laws in NSW from 1 July 2008.
