Strategy information
When considering a strategy to implement, accords need to ensure that the strategy is one that addresses alcohol-related violence, anti-social behaviour or other alcohol-related harm in and around licensed premises.
The information and links provided on this page are designed to provide guidance on which strategies may best address the issues the accord wishes to resolve. The strategies listed are by no means definitive, and every day accords are coming up with new and unique ways of finding solutions to their local problems.
A range of resources are available which include:
- Fact sheets – these are provided for direction as to who to involve, what research to undertake, which costs may be incurred, and how to fund, promote and evaluate the schemes.
- Media release templates – these will assist in the promotion of the strategies.
- Resources from Government and other agencies – this includes artwork which can be printed off and used by all accords. It is however important to note that the artwork (posters) is provided on the understanding that it will not be altered in any way.
- Artwork and strategy reviews from accords – the artwork is provided to show how some accords have promoted their campaigns. It is important to note that the accords mentioned have copyright for their artwork (posters). This artwork is featured on the understanding that the design will not be copied without first gaining permission from the relevant accord, for which we are able to provide contact details. The strategy reviews are provided to show how other accords have gone about choosing, developing and implementing their campaigns.
